CalWORKs is a welfare program that gives cash aid and services to eligible California families in need. If a family is in need, CalWORKs may be able to help with housing, food, utilities, clothing or medical care, they may be eligible to receive immediate short-term help. Medi-Cal is California's Medicaid program. This is a public health insurance program which provides needed health care services for low-income individuals including families with children, seniors, persons with disabilities, foster care, pregnant women, and low income people with specific diseases such as tuberculosis, breast cancer, or HIV/AIDS.  LEARN MORE

CAPI is a 100 percent state-funded program designed to provide monthly cash benefits to aged, blind, or disabled non-citizens who are ineligible for SSI/SSP solely due to their immigration status. Learn more HERE

Trafficking and Crime Victim Assistance Program (TCVAP)

TCVAP is a cash assistance program for non-citizen victims of crime who are in need of immediate services, and who are obtaining a legal humanitarian status or assisting in the prosecution of a crime. Learn more HERE
