The Madera County Grand Jury is an investigative body that reviews complaints falling within its jurisdiction. The Grand Jury is empowered to examine all aspects of County and City government, public schools, and special districts.
The Grand Jury can bring attention to concerns that citizens believe are injustices that have not been resolved by public agencies after reasonable efforts have failed. Citizen complaints can also help the Grand Jury identify areas of government in which residents have problems or concerns.
